Tonight is the last night of Deadweird, where everyone in Deadwood dresses up in costumes and are judged. By who, I'm not sure, but on Saturday night, there were a lot of costumes out already. Monty Python's knights from the Holy Grail, garden trolls, witches, angels, devils, monsters. It was really cool. I didn't see anything last night because I only worked 'til 3pm and was home afterwards. Hopefully, with tonight being Halloween, and me working, we'll have a lot of people dressed up. The casino is already decorated and spooky.
Even at Applebee's everyone was in the spirit, but they said they had to dress up for Halloween, and they each had numbers on their backs, and we got to vote for the one we liked the best. I wish we could dress up at work because that would be a lot of fun. They got to do it at the other casinos...*sigh*

we dressed up at work today. the loan department was "gilligan's island", the tellers were a bunch of hillbillies (i kept waiting for someone to squeal like a pig, but since they're all female, i guess that wasn't gonna happen), customer service dressed up like pirates (caribbean, not pittsburgh), proof & bookkeeping wore jammies (they stole our idea, dammit!), and janet & lisa were cavewomen, although neither of them wore a fur bikini. we did the jammie thing in our department, and ashley's eeyore slippers were a big hit. unfortunately, i kept stepping on his ears and almost tripping....good times. oh, remember at paula's surprise 70th birthday party? i brought my camera, but my battery died before paula even showed up. i brought my camera today, took 3 pics and my memory card was full. bummer. i was kinda bummed i didn't bring it to deadweird saturday, but i guess it's just as well, since i'd be lugging around a camera i couldn't use. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
Sorry you did not get to get dressed up. I did not get to this year either, mainly 'cause my wife did not want to go out and me dressing up by myself is just...well, any other Monday night. LOL
